Many potentially important and significant locations identified from LiDAR imagery were examined in the 2026 field study. This field work, which began in the northern portion of the area and progressed southward, generated a substantial amount of information, especially about Scarps. As the field work progressed southward, the attention shifted from Scarps to other features. The presentation of this information in the following tends to be detailed and tedious reading, but is included here as it gives a sense of the level of detail found, documenting the historical interpretation given in the final section below.
